I have lived in Brighton for almost 20 years. It has my perfect mix: the sea and the Downs, blues and greens, with a vibrant community of every hue in between. I’ve travelled to India, Mexico and Sri Lanka and enjoy experiencing new places but there’s nothing like coming home to Brighton.

I have worked as an illustrator for most of my career, both as a freelancer and as Design Director. The role was vast, from overseeing a talented team to managing projects, creating ranges and working with external partners such as universities, New Designers graduate show to commissioning freelance artists.

In my work I merge painting, illustrating and art direction. I paint from memory with reference material from my sketchbook to create an emotive image, a fading memory. Fashion and style sets a time and a feeling; visited places and people create an essential story in my work.
